Grace Ogawa Memorial Leadership Training Conference (LTC) Scholarship

 

This Leadership Training Conference Scholarship is named in honor of former alumna and campus minister Grace K. Ogawa.

 

Grace attended UCLA's AACF as a student and returned to serve AACF from 1988 to 2003. As a Campus Minister, she was vital to the growth and development of college students at UCLA and throughout the SoCal region.

 

She was a beautiful and humble person of prayer, who gently shepherded students and fellow team leaders to pursue Jesus with their whole heart, soul, mind and strength. With devotion and hospitality, she invested well into the lives of many in AACF and sought for them to become servant leaders in their own right, following the AACF student-initiated/staff-directed ways.

May the Lord grace those who receive this scholarship to lead in the same gentle and compassionate manner that Grace served our Lord Jesus.

 

What is LTC?

LTC is AACF's annual Leadership Training Conference. For a week in June, student leaders gather from every AACF to be equipped to do gospel ministry on their campuses. LTC offers training tracks that explore leading a bible study, creating Christian community, developing and implementing a vision, effective and creative evangelism, discipleship, leading small groups, cultivating a life of prayer, and more! We help students understand their call as servants of Christ, first and foremost, and impart to the them the tools to be humble and faithful servant leaders.

 

Your donation will allow us to provide partial and full scholarships to students in financial need who cannot afford the full registration cost of LTC. Thank you for your donation and be assured that your gift is going directly to the building up of the next generation!
